Angie has Accumulated a Long List of Awards and Accomplishments Throughout Her Legal Career
Angela Ghannam has been a licensed attorney in the State of Michigan since 2009. A graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy, both undergrad and its School of Law, she is also trained in mediation and collaborative divorce by the Institute of Continuing Legal Education. Angela is the firm's estate planning lawyer.
Angela has been selected to Thompson Reuter’s Super Lawyers Rising Star in the Area of Family law in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021, 2022, and 2023, an honor that goes to less than 2.5% of attorneys in the State of Michigan, as well as selected as a SuperLawyer in 2025 and 2026. Angela participated on the advisory board of a local women’s business council, and was the President of the local Bar Association from 2015-to 2016, participated on the Henry Ford Community College Paralegal program advisory board, and volunteered at the FAMD animal shelter as well as fostering several animals in need.
Angie Looks at Your Case with Conviction from Every Possible Angle
When talking to Angela about the law, you will quickly find that she communicates with both clarity and conviction. Knowledgeable and passionate, she is a naturally adept communicator and is appreciated for her expertise and expressive communication style.
Instinctively warmhearted, Angela seeks first to look for areas of agreement. She hears the unvoiced questions, anticipates the needs, and always seems to find the right words and tone for and with her clients. She understands at a fundamental level that there is little to be gained from conflict and friction, so she seeks to hold these to a minimum.
Don’t Let Her Warmhearted, Passionate Nature Fool You
Angela’s naturally competitive spirit is demonstrated by her intense drive to improve performance in all aspects of her personal and professional life; this causes her to set high standards for herself and others. It’s also what makes her so good at what she does. When a situation calls for jumping into the conflict, she doesn’t hesitate. Her competitive nature will come to the forefront to lead clients to the win.
Clients, friends, and family all benefit from her personal “top 5” values: family, growth, leisure, love, and security, on a day-to-day basis.
When not lawyering, you will find Angela biking – outside when possible, or indoors when weather doesn’t permit! She is also an avid “foodie” – and will tell you she subscribes to every food blog that exists.
